Thanks to your help and support since 2012, when Classrooms for Malawi was nothing more than a conversation over a kitchen table, we have improved the lives of thousands of children in Malawi already. We have grown an incredible amount, with partners in Scotland and Malawi helping us to achieve our goals of providing safe and fit for purpose classrooms in some of the world’s poorest communities, and changing lives and communities for the better.

We have now grown so much, and have so much work to complete in order to achieve our increasingly ambitious goals, that we have recently moved into our own office and employed our first part-time paid member of staff. This solid base is essential to our growth which will now raise exponentially as we have more structure and can come together most effectively to get more children in classrooms.

James Kelly, charity Chairperson said:

“It is fantastic to have our own office. People have been so kind and generous, helping us to furnish the office and we have already started to have visitors and supporters coming in to see us. Having the office will no doubt help us to expand as a charity and help even more children in Malawi. We are also delighted to have our new charity support worker Gemma in place to help run the office.”

The office is a space where we hope our supporters feel that they can come and chat to us, have a coffee and learn more about our work at Classrooms for Malawi. The office phone line will be installed in the coming weeks but for now you can contact us on the telephone numbers found on (link to ‘Meet the Team’ Page ) or by email on info@classroomsformalawi.org .
