Today is the UN International Day of Education. Without inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all, countries will not succeed in achieving gender equality and breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving millions of children, youth and adults behind.

In Malawi, while access to Primary Education is free, due to many issues including poor infrastructure, approximately 1.4 million children and young people are not able to access the education they are entitled too and deserve. At Classrooms for Malawi we strive to provide suitable learning environments by working in partnership with schools and groups in the UK to improve education facilities to help reduce class sizes and improve enrolment rates. #educationforall #SDG4 Find out more at www.classroomsformalawi.org

Happy Christmas! Khrisimasi Yabwino!

Thank you for your support during 2019.
This has been an incredible year for Classrooms for Malawi, we have reached a milestone of over 200 classrooms either built or renovated in Malawi which means that more than 16,000 young people are now able to learn indoors in a safe and secure classroom environment.

This is an amazing achievement and it is down to the hard work and support of everyone involved with Classrooms for Malawi.

As a small, grassroots organisation we are entirely funded by voluntary donations and we rely on your generosity and support to help us achieve our ambitious goal to get children in Malawi Out of Poverty, Into Education.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas
Here's to a successful and prosperous 2020!
